Reduce energy consumption thanks to the finesse of our joinery products
Thanks to the concealed sash technique, combined with the slim aluminium profiles, the K•LINE window has a glazed surface area that is 15% larger than a traditional window with a visible sash. This means it is able to capture more solar energy and therefore reduce the need for artificial heating and lighting.
-23%
The switch to smart lighting has resulted in a saving of 23% in general consumption between 2019 and 2020 at WIBAIE sites.
Make high-performance joinery products to make savings
The LUM’UP range of windows by Bipa offers excellent thermal performance. With Uw coefficients of just 1.3 and Sw of 0.39, LUM’UP also offers some of the best thermal insulation on the market and a high level of solar gains. The guarantee of making substantial heating savings and providing greater day-to-day comfort.
Reduce consumption in our factories and head offices
A Building Management System has been set up for WIBAIE’s exterior lighting and administrative buildings. Raising awareness on energy consumption and an annual Digital Clean up day in 2022, as well as the switch to smart LEDs (each light is autonomous and adapts to outside light levels using presence sensors) has resulted in significant savings in overall consumption. The use of solar panels is also underway.
Offer intelligent blackout solutions to simplify everyday life
By offering a global approach to the connected home, the K•LINE Smart Home app simplifies the management and automation of blackout and motorised products, either in person or remotely, using a smartphone or tablet. This makes it possible to limit the use of air-conditioning, make better use of natural and free energy from the sun, control consumption more closely and adapt heating to your lifestyle.
